My name is Angela and I love love love to read! My absolute favorite kind of book to read is historical romance, hands down. I also enjoy Christian romance, contemporary romance, suspense, thrillers, mysteries, and historical fiction/nonfiction. As a self-proclaimed history nerd, I like reading and watching programs about WWI and WWII. It is a dream of mine to visit Northeastern France and explore the underground bunkers from WWI. Aside from reading books I also enjoy spending time with family, chasing after my 2 little ones, baking, cooking, finding new ways to save money, going to church, researching family history, doing yoga, knitting and crocheting, and taking care of our 4 dogs. We have 2 sheltie sisters, Sadie Suzanne and Jazzmyn Rayne aka Jam Jam. These girls are over 13 years old. I call them my "little old maids." Our other 2 dogs are a black pointer named Lady Bird and a white and brown Chihuahua we call Lil Bit.
This is my first blog so bear with me as I learn how to post and manage a blog. I'm learning something new everyday. Between the 4 dogs and 2 kids our house is like a 3 ring circus! Never a dull moment around here but I like it that way...most of the time! Blogging is the perfect outlet for my writing. I like to write about the books I read, the new recipes I try as well as the old familiar ones I inherited from both my grandmas and my meemaw.
