Phoebe is definitely what you'd call a "daddy's girl" - I'm not going to deny it I am one too lol! Can you imagine her shock when finding out everything you thought you knew about your parents was a lie? I'd be devastated just as she was! Not only that but her father has more nefarious plans for her. Phoebe must rely on her faith in God to be strong and overcome the evil in her life.
I'm rating A Beauty Refined a 4 out of 5 stars. This is a very touching story that will open your eyes to see that not everything is as it appears. Sometimes it takes a different perspective from someone else to see the truth. I liked how I was able to connect with Phoebe.
